Responsible for assisting with recruitment and orientation of the Utah hospitals participating in the Hospital Improvement Innovation Network. As a Senior Improvement Advisor I developed and delivered multiple educational webinars surrounding best practices designed to reduce the eleven areas of harm, non-pharmaceutical pain management, use of the National Healthcare Safety Network, and development of a Culture of Safety. Using the ECHO Model® I designed, implemented and facilitated several quality improvement projects focused on antibiotic stewardship, opioid stewardship, pressure injury prevention, and surgical site infection prevention. My role also includes responsibility for ongoing quality improvement facilitation and coaching for 21 hospitals and 12 Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Utah.
