In 2014, graduated from Monash University, having completed my Honours Degree in the Bachelor of Arts. My degrees' focus was human rights, history and the plight of refugees, all areas that I am highly passionate about.I am currently a freelance writer, editor and proofreader, and work part-time with a consulting company, as I am a work from home mother. I have been in a number of roles throughout my career that have enriched my work experience, and I am looking to broaden this. My experience is wide and varied, from working with an NGO abroad for two years assisting refugees, to owning my own delivery and take-away restaurant with my husband, to being the executive assistant to Director of Community Development at a busy and thriving council.I have completed an internship at Amnesty International, and was a volunteer with the Adult Multicultural Education Services as an English Tutor for many years. My passion and desire lies in the human rights field, where I believe that one day I can make a difference in the lives of those who are most disadvantaged. My interests outside of work include cooking and learning about food, travelling, reading and writing stories and poetry, of which some has been published.I aim to apply all that I have learnt in my life to an organisation that values perseverance, dedication and diligence.
