As a Lifestyle Mentor at Disability Services Australia (DSA), I provide person-centred care and support to participants living at organisation’s run accommodation sites, with a focus on promoting their self-determination, independence, and well-being. I have experience in working with participants with special needs, including IDs, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism, and behaviours of concern, and implementing behaviour support plans and restriction practices when needed.I have recently completed a Diploma of Community Services at Stott's College, where I learned about different community service practices, liaison, and counseling. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Florence, which gives me a creative and innovative perspective on developing engaging activities with my clients based on their interests and talents.
