Stylist
As a stylist at David's Bridal, I was responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting brides, bridemaids, and special occasion shoppers in finding the perfect dress and accessories. I guided customers through the fitting process, offering personalized advice, product knowledge, and styling suggestions to create a memorable experience. I also ensured the store is organized and well-stocked, and process sales transactions. I work closely with the team to meet sales goals and maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere, all while reflecting the brand’s commitment to making every customer feel special and confident in their choice. Strong communication skills, a passion for fashion, and a customer-first mindset are key to my success.
Cast Member
Being a Disney Store Cast Member entails being responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by creating a magical shopping experience for guests of all ages. I assisted with product selection, demonstrate strong knowledge of Disney merchandise, and handle sales transactions accurately using the POS system. As a cast member, I helped maintain an organized, visually appealing store, set up displays, and restock merchandise. I collaborated with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive atmosphere, all while embodying Disney's values of friendliness, enthusiasm, and dedication to guest satisfaction. My favorite part was running the special events for children and families to help bring the Disney magic to Chicago Ridge.
Product Developer
As a Product Developer, my duties consisted of using current scientific research to understand an individual's genome, in order for the individual to improve his/her health or lifestyle. I generated monthly reports to customers, ranging from insulin risk to male pattern baldness. Another product I created was a weightloss plan based on an individual's DNA. We looked at the ability to breakdown different fatty acids, carbohydrates, etc. Not only did we look at the nutrional aspect, but also one’s genetic susceptibility to food cravings, exercise being less impactful compared to dieting, metabolism rate, weight control, etc. By incorporating multiple aspects, we hoped to improve one’s likelihood of losing weight and keeping it off. My most difficult project was getting 510(k) Premarket Notification for the medical device and Class III carrier screening testing for various genetic illnesses by the FDA. Before my resignation, I designed and completed the twelve studies to get the CRI Genetics device and medical report approved by the FDA. I was just waiting on the laboratory to finish testing, so I can analyze the results and submit the 510(k).Working at a start-up company, I worked with and did marketing, quality, customer service, software development, and legal services. For instance, in the reports based on my research, we worked with software developers to set up how the report looks on the website, as well as desiging the template for them to extract the info from our reports to the site. I reviewed the sites on different browsers to ensure quality. I taught the marketing team about the product and helped design ads. When recruiting doctors to our team, I designed all the brochures and reports. As well as, went to their offices to discuss joining our team. And finally, personally called customers to hear product feedback and taught customer service about the genetic products.
Production Supervisor Ii
After a year of being at the company as a Production Coordinator, I was promoted to Production Supervisor of KN-Fractionation department. Production Supervisor ensures the process is being maintained by operators in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Also, I coordinate with multiple departments internally and internationally to assure the manufacturing areas, equipment, and operations are suitable and in compliance with cGMPs. With only ten months of experience, I was asked to be temporary Lead Supervisor of seventy operators and six supervisors, while the Lead Supervisor traveled to our sister facility in Bern, Switzerland. Management asked me to take the temporary position before the other supervisors in our department, who varied between seven to twenty-five years of supervisor experience. During this time, I helped collaborate and lead the project for our new drug, CSL112. Also, I lead a team to reduce minor stops in our department. My team saved the company $31,000 with the potential to increase revenue by $1.8 million through the reduction in minor stops and increase in product.
Production Coordinator
After two months as a temporary Production Coordinator, I was hired full-time to run two new departments, AlbuRx and Kistler-Nitschmann Fractionation. Being the first coordinator for both departments, I created the templates in Microsoft Excel and established the processes that the current coordinators continue to use for daily tasks. My templates helped with inventory control, creating manufacturing orders, data entry, and tracking seventy operator schedules. As a coordinator, time management, flexibility, and attention to detail were essential in order for me to be successful.
Team Leader Of Premier Cashiers
I was promoted to Team Leader, after only working at the facility for two months. I managed cashiers throughout facility and controlled the money flow between the different area. However, majority of my time spent was solving issues that ranged from customers under the influence, disgruntled customers, or ticket discrepancies.
Admissions Intern
In my four years at the Ohio Wesleyan University's Admissions Office, I moved up from general worker, call center manager, secretary, and event's coordinator intern. Throughout my experience, I assisted in the planning events for prospective students to come visit, as well as recruiting the student through calling, tours, presentations, and traveling to high schools. This experience challenged me to incorporate information through creativity and entertainment.
Swim Instructor
Being a swim instructor was the most challenging and rewarding job experience I have faced because the path to teach a student a life-saving skill does not only involve technicalities, but a student's trust and confidence in themselves. I taught classes for three year-olds to adults with no swim experience. Within these classes, I would have student's at various levels. Therefore, I would have to be vigilant of a student's safety, flexible dealing with the different personalities, creative to keep a student's interest, and balance time between each student.
