As a senior project manager and team lead, I co-led a team in the EU Flagship project, the Human Brain Project. Our task was to coordinate, build and manage the interdisciplinary EBRAINS Community, within brain research and brain-inspired technology development, for the research infrastructure EBRAINS.I was also involved in internal coordination of projects within bioengineering, and sustainable development for SMEs with the use of Advanced Technologies, focusing on community building and stakeholder engagement. Finally, I have been involved in organizational development, cross organization coordination and management, sales within the green technology and development area, and organizational team building.The DBT has more than 30 years of experience and practice in citizen and stakeholder engagement processes, both in local, national, international and global settings, facilitating democratic decision making and inclusion.

Master thesis in collaboration with Novozymes with a focus on the optimization of wastewater solutions using enzyme technology. Collaborating with three different research teams I had the opportunities to make experiments across the pipeline from microbiological assays, genetic engineering and expression, to small-scale application trials. I had opportunities to put to use my technical insights, love for biology and experience gained from my studies.

Conducting research in technologies to improve Product Characteristics in Drosophila S2 Cells with the (then) small research team at ExpreS2ion. I tried many different techniques and enjoyed the experience of being in a up- and coming biotech company.
