Democracy x has the expertise and resources to support societal actors in addressing critical challenges related to democracy, technology, and the green transition. We operate as a nonprofit corporate foundation, driven by a commitment to make a positive impact for and with citizens, an impact on society and the planet. The funding of our contributions is solely for salaries, operations, and development – there is no profit incentive. Our experience and analysis tell us that successful solutions to major societal challenges hinge on democratic engagement. We pursue a mission-driven approach, developing long-time programs and partnerships that address three key societal challenges: 1. Exceeding planetary boundaries 2. Technological acceleration 3. The need to strengthen democratic participation.
