On LinkedIn, we generally describe ourselves in terms of our profession. We tend to use titles like 'Software Engineer' or 'Accountant' or 'Lawyer', and most of our content on here revolves around that. That used to be my story as well.But, over time, I've discovered that fitting oneself into one profession isn't for me. For that reason, I like to call myself a generalist—you might've known this concept prior from the popular expression 'jack of all trades, master of none'!Most of the professional work I do right now involves software, and a lot of my content on LinkedIn would be about that as well. However, I'll no longer be limiting myself to talking about technology or software and would instead let my profile represent more accurately who I am as a person in whole, trying to talk about a wide range of topics that interest me.You're welcome to hop on along on my journey 🙂!
