Led strategic partnerships in the lifestyle space across Facebook and Instagram, working with public figures, publications, and brands in fashion, food, travel, wellness and several other lifestyle verticals to help leverage their presence on Facebook, Instagram and oculus by making use of tools such as Instagram Stories, Facebook Live, 360 video and beyond. Projects included building Instagram's game-changing fashion vertical, essentially creating the playbook for how to "win" a vertical on a social platform; developing Facebook live series’ with partners such as Gordon Ramsay, Tastemade and Food 52; creating a dedicated award for Instagrammer of the Year for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)’s annual Awards; developing and overseeing Food for Thought, a series in partnership Facebook’s Design org featuring culinary luminaries in conversation with the FB design team about the nature of creativity and innovation; and leading creative collaborations with publications such as Vogue and W and festivals such as the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and Art Basel. Quoted as an expert in media outlets such as Vogue, WSJ, Glamour, and Women's Wear Daily and appeared on panels at the CFDA, the Women's Wear Daily Digital Forum, SXSW and Oculus’ Women in VR.

Launched and oversaw HuffPost OWN—a partnership with Oprah.com and The OWN Network. Launched and oversaw HuffPost Divorce and HuffPost Weddings—curating the editorial mix, producing and writing new content, recruiting contributors, packaging pieces and growing the sites to become two of the top-traffic lifestyle verticals on HuffPost. With Nora Ephron, co-produced Breakover—a Web pilot about real women who’ve reinvented their lives. Partnered with Meetup.com to host offline events for HuffPost Divorce in New York and Los Angeles. Featured as a relationship expert on Entertainment Tonight, ABC News, NPR and KTLA. Managed a staff of 7.

Oversaw the front-of-book section and wrote for the magazine, including major feature profiles of Perez Hilton, Hugh Hefner, and Chelsea Handler. Won a Gold City & Regional Magazine award for “The Dating Game” package. Blogged at lamag.com.

Reported on A-list Hollywood star sightings in town. Covered parties, red carpets, press conferences and other celebrity events, including Bill Clinton’s 60th Birthday celebration and Toronto International Film Festival happenings.

Developed show concepts, wrote segments, booked and prepped guests and worked with hosts to produce this 1-hour daily live talk show. Hosted and produced 3-minute segment about tabloid editor Bonnie Fuller, which included my interview with her.

Wrote monthly column on city life. Assigned and edited event listings, mini-profiles, and interviews about local talent. Researched and wrote photo essay on gay marriage. Uploaded and refreshed site content daily.

Acted as handling editor on entertainment stories. Assisted in conceiving story packages on local and national acts. Wrote several articles for the newspaper, including a story about middle-school students and sex which generated a national debate.

Acted as research assistant to David Carr, Vanessa Grigoriadis, and other editors on major stories. Mastered search tools including LexisNexis. Conducted interviews with dozens of subjects and transcribed tapes for editors. Earned reporting credit on cover story about the Landmark Forum.

Worked with fashion staff to conceive and organize photo shoots. Dressed models and prepared clothes. Wrote copy for fashion stories and contests. Maintained fashion closet, received and returned clothing samples.
