Sarah graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in English and from Stanford University with an M.A. in English Literature. When her daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2015, she discovered the path to turn her lifelong love of language and reading into a vocation. Since that time, she has pursued training in reading difficulties and the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. She is a member of the Academy of Orton Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. She recently helped found a non-profit (R.E.A.D.Montana) dedicated to providing resources, education, and advocacy for those with dyslexia. Previously, Sarah’s professional career included Program Director for Off the Beaten Path, an adventure travel company; Communications Director for the College of Letters & Science at Montana State University; and founder/owner of Market Day Foods, an innovator in local foods distribution. She is also a founding board member and coach for Bozeman Youth Cycling.
