I am a leading thinker and analyst of wellbeing with over thirty years’ experience of research and consultancy work. In 2020 I co-founded the Relational Wellbeing Collaborative to advance a more social, integrative and systemic approach to wellbeing, which puts relationships at the centre. I am particularly interested in working with organisations and communities wishing to apply such an approach in practice, including through action research. More generally, I aim to provide strategic support to people and organisations working for social justice, bringing together the rigour of my academic training with a practice of active listening, creative problem-solving and enabling reflexive learning. I aim to be diversity aware and understanding the perspectives of people who are socially or economically marginalised is particularly important to me. In addition to wellbeing, I have published widely on gender, child/youth rights, race, religion, NGOs and participation, with a main focus in South Asia.
