- Received a $5,000 stipend to design and conduct an original research project utilizing green and red fluorescent proteins to create 4D live images of neuronal development of C. elegans during embryogenesis- Presented the project in weekly lab meetings to SURF’s program directors and my peers

- Conducted hands-on Neurobiology research with postdoctoral mentor Wendy Cao- Independently executed protocols, including PCR, Mini Prep, Gel Electrophoresis, and Sanger Sequencing, while becoming clinically trained to use a light microscope, fluorescent microscope, Confocal, and BS2

- Individually coached players of varying levels, focusing on technique, movement, and fitness- Designed and directed group sessions, of up to 15 juniors, to foster sportsmanship, gameplay, and growth

- Trained and competed for over ten years to become #1 nationally ranked junior in the Under 17 & 19 categories- Represented Canada for over two years at the World Junior Championships and the Pan American Games
