Sarah Conners is a fashion Maker, Educator and Strategist with a work history in design, retailing, manufacturing, marketing and management. With a strong work history in the fashion and accessories industry Sarah has not only taken time to immerse herself in the skills of the maker but has taken pains to share that knowledge with the broader industry. A passion for Creative Business and Sustainable Practice has lead Sarah to pursue a Masters of Fashion at RMIT to explore and research worlds best sustainability lead business practice and development. Sarah’s experience also extends to the project management of national level projects aimed at growing capabilities in the Textile, Clothing and Footwear manufacturing sector.With roles role in Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) project management with Kangan Institute and the Industry Capability Network, Sarah has experience in project implementation, compliance and team management. Through this role Sarah has worked on many Government funded projects focused on meeting the specific needs of small fashion related businesses.
