Oversees the operation of an intensive residential substance use disorder treatment facility. Acts as Executive Director in their absence. Supervises the following departments: Human Resources, Nursing, Kitchen, Transportation, Maintenance and the Administrative Assistant. Ensure that the facility is operating within compliance with OASAS, the Justice Center and Medicaid requirements. Encourages and models healthy workplace interactions that support staff and clients in maintaining a healthy environment. Uses input from staff and clients to improve program outcomes by developing quality improvement plans with the committee. Serves as NHM staff representative on the Friends of New Hope board, and attends the New Hope Manor board meetings as a staff representative. Ensures the building remains in good working order and in compliance with regulations by overseeing the maintenance department.

Ensures that the Men’s and Women’s Programs are meeting CARF and OASAS standards. Provides supervision to clinical staff. Processes all third party’s payor billing.

Managed a caseload up to 11 clients, facilitated psycho educational and step groups, developed comprehensive treatment plans collaboratively with clients, discharge planning and individual sessions.

Managed a caseload up to 15 clients, facilitated psycho educational groups, facilitated seminars for up to 200 clients, developed comprehensive treatment plans collaboratively with the client and discharge planning.

Managed a caseload up to ten women, facilitated psycho educational groups daily, developed comprehensive treatment plan collaboratively with clients, treatment plan reviews and discharge planning.

Assist in facilitating or facilitate goal groups, assist in admitting and discharging clients, and maintain detailed progress notes. Encourage clients to remain in the crisis unit to move on to the next treatment step. Assist with maintaining a safe and drug free environment by conducting regular rounds and inspections of the unit.
