(She/Her) I am currently a Lead Licensing Engineer for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy. I work for the GEH SMR Canada Team working towards the completion of various regulatory work scopes in Canada, including new reactor licensing, reload licensing, customer plant support on nuclear methods, and working with Canadian GEH SMR Technologies and Regulatory Affairs teams on major projects.I previously worked as a Safety Analysis Engineer at Enercon Services, Inc. located in Kennesaw, GA. At ENERCON, I was responsible for preparing and reviewing calculations and evaluations for safety-related components and systems at various nuclear power plants. I mainly focused on environmental qualification (EQ) analysis. I began to take on leadership roles by leading teams to deliver the evaluations and documents to clients. This helped strengthen our relationships by delivering quality products. I also co-led ENERCON'S IDEA Team (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness) and was a member of the NAYGN and WIN Chapters at ENERCON.For NAYGN (North American Young Generation in Nuclear), I currently serve as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. In this role, I hope to help NAYGN and the nuclear industry grow into a more diverse and welcoming environment. I was also previously a graduate student studying Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At UTK, I was a graduate research assistant, undergraduate teaching assistant for Honors Engineering fundamentals, and an undergraduate intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. At the laboratory, I worked under the Fusion and Materials for Nuclear Systems Division researching nuclear cable lifetimes for environmental qualification testing. When I am not working, I am very involved in the dance community and love to spend my time dancing and choreographing.
