Representative Buckley chairs the Texas House Public Education Committee. Responsibilities included assisting the committee in preparing for hearings, communicating with education stakeholders, coordinating the elected official's schedule, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including drafting letters and official communications.

Capable of calmly handling the weekend rush for five-six hours at a time in a fast paced environment.Relay positive and negative interactions with customers to managers and shift leads, in order to maximize customer satisfaction and prevent further problems.

Assisted in research focused on equine hosts and their immune system interactions with rhodococcus equi. Five separate studies were ran simultaneously, using different methods to successfully develop strategies to protect foals against rhodococcus equi. Assisted with procedures such as ultrasounds, tracheal washes, bronchoalveolar lavages and vital monitoring in foals.
