Luke’s is an informal dining experience with a clear focus on the delivery of contemporary and flavoursome dishes within the simple and stylish surroundings of our mezzanine level restaurant.Located on the ground floor is Gin Rickey’s, a space where handcrafted cocktails are served alongside carefully selected beers, spirits, wines and an ever growing gin collection.The interior shows elements of industrial chic with a combination of exposed white brick, iron caged light fixtures and handmade leather seating.

As a member of the revolution team, I am responsible for serving customers, both food and beverages, as well as handling customer queries and complaints. The job includes handling stock, cash and supervising members of staff to ensure smooth operation of the bar. I recently took the position of Events Manager. This new role means I am responsible for the bookings held within the bar, the events we showcase and promotions we have, as well as helping to market our bar within the hospitality market of Chester . From working for Inventive leisure, I have acquired my personal license and I have also become a first aider amongst obtaining other qualifications.

As a language assistant in 2 schools, I was responsible for the teaching of English as a foreign language and preparation of classes for 11-16 year olds. From this employment I learnt a greater need for patience when working with a variety of different abilities as well as how I could more effectively communicate with people as there was a language and culture barrier present.

As a hostess at Swankey's, my main duties were to provide excellent customer service as well as serving them a variety of beverages and food items; handling stock and cash; and positively interacting with customers and staff in order to maintain a happy environment.

I worked for the company during my last years of high school and then continued my employment into my university life. During this time, I was promoted to Duty manager of a store. As I worked there for a long duration of time and wanted to learn more about the working of the store, I had experience in all the departments in the store including the cafe, clothing, homewear, foods, as well as several of the backstage departments. My responsibilies included: providing great customer service; Managing Cash, Customer Service, Stock Handling, Due Diligence and Staff.
