- Maintain and update Education Minnesota's website, as well as our EdMNVotes microsite, using separate content management systems. - Wrote one to three 900-word articles per month on home and gardening topics that were published in newspapers and online news sites around the world via AP's special sections.- Coordinated images for each story or snapped my own.

­- Wrote, edited and posted original and CNN wire stories to IB's 70-plus TV and newspaper websites across the country.­- Created and incorporated slideshows, videos and other multimedia content with web stories, including a daily slideshow called The Daily List, which generated more than 3 million pageviews for IB sites since launching in fall 2010.­- Sent national breaking news alerts to thousands of email subscribers, and periodically helped the copy desk proof stories, headlines and teaser text submitted for editing by IB sites.

­- Oversaw and managed a staff of six reporters and coordinated coverage of more than a dozen communities and school districts for six weekly papers in the northwest Minneapolis suburbs­- Wrote and edited dozens of stories each week, posted content online, shot photos and video when necessary­- Mentored reporters, many of whom were beginners, resolved complaints/problems among staff and/or readers and represented Sun Newspapers in the community at Chamber of Commerce and other events

- Developed county government beat covering the Town of Caledonia in Racine County- Submitted up to three stories a week covering municipal meetings and town issues while attending Marquette University full time
