I'm a native to the Seattle area with over 20 years of experience in technology in the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Gaming, Consumer Electronics, and Telecommunications industries. My superpowers are empathy and understanding, team collaboration, and problem solving. I enjoy bringing different individuals and teams together, understanding needs and strategy, filling gaps, and driving solutions to overarching goals and success for a program. I strive to be the leader and 'glue' for a team.I am passionate for bringing more women and youth from underrepresented communities into the area of technology. I know first-hand what it is like to be the only woman and/or only minority in these spaces. I serve as International Chairperson for Eco-Agric Uganda, Technical Administrator for Rescue Women Foundation Uganda, (past) Chair for the Stanford Black Alumni Association Seattle Chapter, Volunteer for the Technology Access Foundation, Industry Panelist for IGNITE Worldwide, and do speaking engagements throughout the Puget Sound. I bring my dedication to outreach into any workplace I am in as a 1:1 career mentor and supporter of ERG activities. I am a believer that we can all make a difference through small acts every day.
