CarePartners is a health care access program the basis of which is volunteer medical providers who offer access to a primary medical home for each patient in the program, social service care manager, and prescription coverage for patients in the program. MedAccess is a spin-off program that resulted from people calling for assistance who do not meet CarePartners guidelines but need help accessing medications. We educate them about generic medications, federal and state programs that may assist them, and work with them to access medications through the pharmaceutical companies indigent drug programs, Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs).
