Liaising with current providers of validated programmes to keep them up to date with developments and proposed changes. - The validation and authorisation of academic and vocational programmes that meet the requirements outlined for qualification as a solicitor of England and Wales.- Creating an annual data reports based on the legal education providers’ course monitoring reports. Extracting qualitative and quantitative data to analyse the present a benchmarking tool for providers of legal education and better inform the SRA of the demographic engaged in the study of the Qualifying Law Degree, Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course. - Creating a number of info-graphics, targeting specific audiences to ensure appropriate messages and clear information is presented in a succinct an accessible manner. - Implementing and developing the ‘Equivalent Means’ provision introduced in July 2014 which allows individuals to qualify where qualifications and experience have been gained outside of a validated course or training programmes but still meets necessary outcomes. Working with the other teams within the SRA to develop policy, forms and processes. Also engaging with the legal community to promote the provision.- Working with international jurisdictions and lawyers qualified in another jurisdiction looking to dual qualify as a solicitor of England and Wales via the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme route. - Continuous Improvement representative- championing operational changes which benefit the SRA internally and therefore have a positive impact on the quality of service delivered to the public and profession.
