I am in my last semester at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. I am majoring in finance. Mathematics is my strongest skill in school, but I'm also very creative and ambitious with projects I do in my free time. Right now, I am working for Logistics Plus in the Dallas-Fortworth area. My career goals after college are ambiguous in which aspect of finance I want to see myself. I enjoy budgeting and the economics involved in finance, but I also have good leadership and communication skills. I plan on continuing my skills by getting certifications and teaching myself new programs and coding languages. I am also considering becoming a certified CFP or taking some actuarial exams. I am very ambitious about the scope of what I can do, and I back that up with a strong work ethic. I also have an interest in programming. Problem-solving is something that I not only enjoy but excel at, and coding has a lot to do with that. I have plenty of program ideas that I will make when I learn more fitting languages. I am working towards new opportunities in finance that allow me to utilize my skills in something I am passionate about and provide insight into what career I will excel in the most. I look forward to the opportunities I will find this year to improve my skills for my future vocation.
