I am a resident at Ability Ottobock.care. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I graduated with a bachelors of science in Exercise Science from Newberry College. While at Newberry College I was a Newberry Women's Soccer athlete. Through college athletics I have learned a strong work ethic, persistence, teamwork, time management, and many other other skills related to college athletics, nutrition, and training. Now in graduate school, I have had the opportunity to expand on many of those skills while also gaining many more skills. I have clinical experience through observation and hands on opportunities accumulating over 300 hours. Clinical experience in O&P has taught me a different set of skills; compassion, bed side manner, problem solving, professionalism, etc. I also have experience working for a country club as a lead lifeguard which has taught me many management/leadership skills. It has also taught me how to communicate with all types of people. I have learned many more skills throughout both experiences that have shaped me into the person that I am today.
