Assisting with day to day operations including but not limited to;Organising all aspects of international and domestic freight movements including FCL and LCL sea freight, out of gauge cargo, domestic and international airfreight, charters and freighter services.Liaising directly with clients in providing information regarding regulations for import and export matters including tariff concessions and other duty minimisation avenues, client obligations and responsibilities under Incoterms 2010, general quoting including duty and import GST estimations, ICON database information and document requirements as well as pre-shipment advice.Gathering information required for Customs clearance including information on preferential duty rates and free trade agreements, permit requirements for prohibited and restricted importations of certain commodities including application lodgement, obtaining information to satisfy Department of Agriculture commodity concerns. Checking declarations as to conform to Australian Customs and Department of Agriculture requirements including but not limited to packing declarations, fumigation and heat treatment certificates, manufactured goods of developing countries declarations, new and unused and cleanliness declarations.Creating Customs entries in ICS for broker lodgement incorporating accurate and to detail Customs classification and valuation.Job registration and invoicing.Attending vessel load outs and arrivals including Department of Agriculture attendance.Local transport coordination including interstate movements.
