I provided hands-on, generalist human resources and industrial relations support to the WA region and projects, championing regional initiatives across all aspects of human resources (including performance management and development, resource planning, training and diversity), and undertaking planning for future projects.Whilst a lot of people in construction have worked in the industry for their entire career – I learnt quickly how I could apply my skills, experiences and perspectives from other industries to construction projects. It has been really helpful having a diverse career background, I’ve been able to challenge the norm and introduce new and different ways of achieving outcomes.
