I bring to my role as an experienced corporate attorney a passion for connecting with fellow professionals and a focus on domestic and international public and private companies of all sizes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, securities, bank lending, general corporate and corporate governance matters and business succession and exit planning for private business owners across industries. Even when the relationship is shorter, I pride myself on learning the dynamics and unique problems of each client.⎷ Trust: I become a trusted legal and general business advisor to the business owner(s) and management team. ⎷ Responsiveness: I know how much clients come to rely on me and appreciate my being "super-responsive" particularly on complicated issues.⎷ No-nonsense approach: I am known for my no-nonsense approach (quick, practical and efficient), one that I implement successfully by cultivating collaboration among a broader team. ⎷ Certified Exit Planning Advisor: I am one of a select number of attorneys to obtain a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certification. As a CEPA, I help business owners see the bigger picture by developing a succession plan which may include estate and tax planning, dynamics among owners and exit options, including potentially selling the business.⎷ Demonstrated community commitment: I view community service as an integral part of my work as a legal professional. I have worked with several nonprofits in crisis situations, which actually helps me provide sage advice to private sector clients through lived experience.I am delighted to be part of the Fox team with the reach and resources of a large national firm but with the focus and services of a boutique. I enjoy the entrepreneurial spirit and positive energy the firm offers and the commitment to client satisfaction and success. As an avid connector, I enjoy participating in peer advisory groups, through the Women Presidents Organization, Highrise Networks where I serve as the NY I chair, and others. I also enjoy representing clients in art law matters, which originated with my minor in Art History as an undergraduate. In my spare time, I enjoy my dogs, Mah Jong, theatre, music, museums and galleries, rowing, and golf.
