Developing and maintaining the comprehensive psychological assessment service at a downtown community practice in mental health care. I develop policies and procedures, make sure our assessment batteries are comprehensive and up-to-date, and strive to set our standard in trauma-informed, multicultural, and LGBTQIA+ positive assessment.

I provide Emotion-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioural, and integrative therapies from trauma-informed and intersectional feminist perspectives. Providing individualized, private yoga teaching to students of all levels of experience in hatha (Scaravelli), vinyasa, and restorative styles. Specializing in accessible instruction and modification for all bodies, exploration of joy and freedom in movement, as well as finding balance between mobility/stability.

Providing comprehensive assessments for ADHD and related disorders to adults and young adults around Ontario, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Provided evidence-based psychological treatment (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy) and psychoeducational assessment (Learning Disability, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) to adults in a private practice in downtown Toronto.

Provided short-term evidence-based individual therapy and psychodiagnostic assessment to patients of all of the hospital's Family Health Teams under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. In this setting I practiced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for posttraumatic stress, and integrative therapy incorporating Emotion-Focused Therapy, skills training from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and trauma-informed treatment models. Severity of client presentations varied widely, including both clients in more acute crisis and those with complex and serious mental illness.

Provided clinical services under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist through the FOCUS Community Mental Health Team based on the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment model. This setting represents a bridge between hospital- and community-based care for individuals with serious mental illness and social concerns impacting their ability to live well in the community. In this multidisciplinary team environment, I provided group and individual treatment as well as consultation to other disciplines.

Provided individual therapy to both university and community clients under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist through the York University Psychology Clinic, with a focus on training in Emotion-Focused Therapy and on providing psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments.

Psychotherapy practicum in Emotion-Focused Therapy. Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, I provide psychotherapy, intake, crisis intervention, and case management services to university students at the Ryerson University Centre for Student Development and Counselling.

Psychotherapy, psychodiagnostic assessment and psychological services practicum. Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, I provided group and individual therapy and psychodiagnostic assessment to adult female inpatients and outpatients with trauma histories and a variety of diagnoses. In this setting, I implemented Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, feminist principles, the Sanctuary Model, trauma-informed therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy.

Leading weekly support group and assisted weekly yoga classes for women with fertility complications.

Teaching assistant for a certificate course in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy joint-run by The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.Read and evaluated student assignments, provided feedback and support for student roleplays, demonstrated CBT, technical assistance for the course instructor. Attended all classes.

Teaching weekly Vinyasa fusion classes with a focus on core awareness, stability, and strength; teaching workshops blending Restorative Yoga with hands-on Thai Yoga Massage.

Psychotherapy and psychoeducational assessment practicum. Under the supervision of licensed psychologists, I provided short- and long-term low-cost psychotherapy, as well as comprehensive learning disability/ADHD assessments to adults.

Quantitative research, qualitative research, program evaluation and literature review in several areas of health psychology including: aging and disability, non-status and refugee health, refugee counsellor training.Co-wrote a policy document for the Government of Ontario, developed a program evaluation tool.
