General commercial litigation associate with experience advising on federal and state commercial disputes including intellectual property, contract, class action, employment, insider trading and fraud matters. Handle all aspects of litigation, including formulating litigation case strategies, conducting investigations and handling governmental inquiries, and handling court appearances including trials, motion hearings, and pre-trial and discovery conferences. Specific matters include representing:• International dermatology and skin healthcare company in trademark and contract dispute relating to company’s use of trademark on skin healthcare products; following federal jury trial, jury found in favor of dermatology and skin healthcare company on five of six claims brought against it and awarded less than 2% of plaintiff's last settlement demand on sixth claim.• Managed healthcare company in consumer class action relating to company’s use of automatic dialing system to communicate healthcare information to customers; following briefing on motion to dismiss, negotiated favorable settlement. • Major comic books company in several copyright disputes relating to ownership rights of certain intellectual property.• Companies and individuals in federal criminal investigations related to allegations of insider trading at investment funds.• Global leading provider of digital identity solutions in securities fraud class action relating to company’s investor statements.• Companies and individuals in employment litigation related to ADEA and state law age discrimination claims, Title VII quid pro quo harassment claims and hostile work environment claims.
