Role reports to the Vice President of Regulatory & Public Affairs.Key activities:Drive and manage all internal communications activities for the Network Operations EU function - circa 30,000 employees.Campaign and event-planning/ implementing for Network Operations EU in partnership with Sponsorships.Support the Network Operations EU communications community at Board Level and Director level.Support the Network Operations Management Team with communication-related activitiesResponsibilities:Development and distribution of key operational internal announcements for EU Network Operations Conceptualizing and implementing functional campaigns to drive employee engagement and experience.Managing branding and graphic design of specific elements and campaign items in line with Corporate branding.Internal Communications project management for Operations, HR, Sustainability, Public and Corporate Affairs and Diversity and Inclusion.Event managementManaging the content creation, development, design and distribution of a monthly function-wide newsletter via print and digital.Development and support of internal platformsManaging selected employee engagement programsSupporting the functional communications community, through 1:1 support and coachingSpecific communications support for the location/facilityLiaison with Global and external Communication teams & Regional Network Operations EU communicators

To provide support to the Head of HR Business Partnering and to the Midlands Operational area and Customer Operations Group (COG) which is over 800 employees. Work closely and partner with the Regional Operations Directors on all employee matters. To assist in facilitating change, organisational development and the implementation of policies and procedures in line with all legislation.Assisting with leading and facilitating the People Plan for the Region ensuring that it is aligned to the Operational Business Plan and overall company people agenda.Actively manage corporate and local initiatives and projects on a broad range of HR related subjects.Interface with HR COE's of Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward and Employee Relations in the delivery of an effective HR Business Partnering service to the Midlands Service Centres and Customer Operations Group. Recommend and direct the development of policy and procedure on all aspects of HR management and practice that reflects legislation and other regulations, current best practice of HR management.Assist in the preparation of UK Employment Tribunal Cases, representing the Company where appropriate.Contribute to/conduct negotiations with Trade Union in conjunction with operational managers on pay, terms and conditions and procedural matters.Apply good management practices to appraise, coach and encourage the operational management team, provide new opportunities and challenges to increase knowledge and broaden experience.Contribute to business planning and policy development with particular regard for the peoplePromoting a performance culture across the region keeping informed of employee performance issues, and prompting ways to enhance performance through appropriate policy or learning interventions.

Assist in the prevention of offending and re-offending by young people by providing effective services as required by legislation, guidance and published National Standards. They will be required to work effectively with partner organisations to further develop and deliver innovative, effective and high quality programmes and initiatives to meet the needs of victims of youth crime, parents/carers, children and young people involved with the service.The Restorative Justice Co-ordinator has responsibility for the delivery of all restorative justice work by the YOT.See below skills & experience:• Knowledge of the legislation relating to children and young people including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Crime & Disorder Act 1998; Youth Justice and Criminal justice Act 1999; and knowledge of relevant National Standards.• Up-to-date knowledge of victim’s issues and good practice in relation to victim/restorative justice work.• Practical experience of working with victims of youth crime, and/or young people.• Practical experience of delivering restorative justice interventions• Experience of implementing interventions and assessing risks related to youth offending and young people.• Ability to engage young people and victims in restorative justice processes e.g. direct and indirect mediation, restorative conferences.• Ability to work with a staff group from diverse professional backgrounds and ability to work across organisational boundaries in support of the development and delivery of multi-agency initiatives.
