 Working with the National Park Service to re-establish populations of native ranid frogs in the Merced River in Yosemite National Park.Developed ecological aspects of study plan to remove Benbow Dam on the South Fork Eel River for California State Parks, organized teams of citizen scientists to conduct monitoring and frog eggmass rescue efforts prior to dam de-construction Subcontractor to San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to assess amphibian and reptile issues, develop models to evaluate alternate in-stream flow proposals for the Tuolumne River below Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and Alamada Creek below Calavares Reservoir. Subcontractor for California Energy Commission investigation of hydropower-related pulsed flow effects on river breeding frogs. Designed stream restoration features for frog habitat in several California fish passage projects.
