About Sarah Kappel

I am currently a 2020 candidate at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. I work in the Critical Care Unit in the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital as a student nurse. I am currently the Student representative for Dechra Pharmaceuticals. I have done extensive research on PPID (Equine Cushings) and figuring out if surgical treatment is possible. My research was presented at the ACVIM conference. My interest include research, dairy nutrition/medicine and small/large animal surgery.
