A remote position that acts as a liaison between providers and the insurance company to obtain accuratebenefit verification. Provides a detailed description of member's coverage within Availity and other clearinghouses to ensure prompt response and payment for providers. While maintaining the highestlevel of confidentiality, handling patient information through cyber encrypted software in this positionallows us to keep accurate records of all HIPAA related content. Other skills include but are not limited to verbalizing preauthorization procedures and delegating instructions properly.

I was the section leader for the Fresh department in Trader Joe's Hyde Park. My primary duties includedmerchandising my section, ordering products daily, as well as maintaining inventory, rotating and donating perishable food items appropriately. I assisted and engaged with customers during their experience during check out. By working closely with fellow crew members and managers on a daily basis, we were able to maintain the daily revenue and expectation of $100k-$140k for our high volume store.

Each day of the week, I went to a different school in the Chicagoland area to take school pictures. Mymain duties consisted of setting up my equipment properly (green screen, camera, tripod, computer, etc.) conversing with students and faculty in a professional manner, as well as successfully taking qualityphotos.

As a Team Member in the Bakery department at Whole Foods Market, my duties consisted of assistingcustomers with product, filling the sales floor and cake/pastry cases, decorating cakes, working closely and maintaining good communication with fellow Team Members, as well keeping the department cleanand up to standards throughout my shift.

I assisted with the grand opening of the REI in Orland Park, IL. As a shipping and receiving associate, my main duties consisted of receiving store ordered product, as well as customer ordered product. This is an outdoor gear store, so it was important for me to be knowledgeable of product. I helped customers as well, assisted my coworkers with products they could not locate, as well as packing and shipping out customer orders. Keeping an accurate account of inventory was the most important of all, as all the store managers and sales floor associates counted on us to not makeany errors.

As a Prepared Foods Team Member, I was responsible for the front of house area, such as the deli counterand pizza station. I assisted customers with the food they wanted to order, such as various salads and delimeats/cheeses. I handled food closely, so it was important for me to know all the food handling safetyprotocol. Cleaning & sanitizing areas thoroughly was also an important duty.

My responsibilities at Eddie Bauer consisted of assisting customers with purchases, returns,exchanges, and online orders. Processing said transactions correctly was important, as well as knowinghow to use the various function keys on our transaction system. I was also responsible for keeping thestore clean and tidy, as well as the fitting rooms. Occasionally I processed orders we receiving to thestore, as well as sent items back to the distribution center.

Some of my responsibilities as a stocker for REI included stocking various clothing items (softgood items) as well as hardgood items (such as backpacks, tents, and other camping/traveling gear) to the sales floor. It was also myresponsibility to put items that may not have had enough room on the sales floor in its appropriate place in back stock, which was located in our warehouse. When I did not work a stocking shift, I would work up at our frontline assisting customers with their purchases. As a customerservice associate, I was responsible for processing transactions, as well as exchanges and returns. It was also a responsibility of mine to encourage customers to become a lifetime REI member (if they were not already). REI is a cooperative company, which means we are owned by our members, therefore it was important to encourage new customers and guests to join and become members of the Co-op. Providing people with proper gear for their upcoming adventures in the great outdoors is REI's main goal, and as an employee it was my job to express this to our customers in order to keep them interested in exploring and visiting new places.

As an AmeriCorps Member with ACE, my main duties included trail work and maintenance. I learned to use various tools (both hand and motorized), when it comes to both maintaining an existing trail, orcompletely creating a new trail for a reroute. For the duration of my time with ACE, I mainly did treadwork and rock work. I learned to work closely with other crew members/leaders, as well as gain a betterunderstanding of the different work I do at many locations. Through ACE, I learned to become a moreflexible person, whether it be at work or on off days. Being able to communicate efficiently with otherproject partners, leaders, as well as other crew members was very important, as you want to be on the same page about what is intended to be done to the trail.

I had various responsibilities as a Front Desk Representative. Some of those included checking people in and/or out of the hotel, making reservations in person and over the phone, maintaining the upkeep of thedesk/lobby/back office, monitoring Fosse and Marsha (reservation systems) printing out reports for the shift, and washing/folding pool towels. Most importantly, my main responsibility was to assist the guests with anything they may need during their stay to the best of my ability. To be successful at the position, it was important for me to be able to communicate accurately with guests and other staff members, as well as being extremely guest oriented.
