- Researched and wrote documents briefing Global Biosecurity Dialogue participants, includinggovernments, IGOs, and think-tanks, on various biosecurity concerns, such as a background paper onstandardized laboratory reporting to improve international biosafety practices- Analyzed improvements in countries’ health security resulting from their COVID-19 response, draftedtweets, and compiled media clips to promote and update the 2024 Global Health Security Index

- Researched top climate-related and public health issues threatening national security, including food and water scarcity, extreme heat, climate migration, to write blog posts informing our audience of over 10,000, mainly consisting of Congressional staffers and policy organizations, on their risks- Assisted full-time staff to examine the most pressing threats to US military bases to draft 2 official organization reports, specifically focusing on climate threats at installations in Northwest Florida and Arizona- Supported organization events via drafting moderator questions and talking points, preparing invitation lists, and writing event recaps to successfully promote, prepare, and execute American Security Project programming

- Researched teen mental health statistics and health resources, liaising with 20 high schools and 9 apps on potential partnerships, to inform Borough Hall program on improving youth and teen mental health on Staten Island- Reported regularly to Deputy Chief of Staff with research and ideas for both de-stigmatizing mental health and connecting teen constituents with available resources; Assisted in administrative support, such as creating documents, performing external outreach, and completing requested research and review- Attended potential partner calls, including Stem4 UK, Sanvello App, and Cosmic Kids, to gain perspective on mental health resources and accurately inform advertised assistance; Summarized calls and organizing notes for Deputy Chief of Staff’s access

- Partnered with service organizations across New York, including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise over $1,000 for local patients, the Peekskill City Council, North Shore Rotary, and Northwell Health to promote youth involvement and volunteerism in New York- Founded “The Curveball Project: Scoliosis Awareness,” partnering with the National Scoliosis Foundation to raise $500 for scoliosis research, visiting students across New York to educate on adolescent scoliosis, and conducting a social media campaign to raise awareness for the condition
