An enthusiastic and energetic leader with over 20 years experience building and leading client service and operations teams, and influencing and developing strategy.In August 2021, I took on the Interim CEO role at RedSTART, driving and leading a strategic review. Prior to that, I supported the CEO in a leadership capacity, developed the strategy and implemented the resulting plan for fundraising and corporate partnerships, and provided support and direction to the Product and Distribution team. From February 2015 until June 2018 I was based in New York, working with the local management team helping to drive, build and lead the global business from the USA. This included establishing and implementing the strategy for people and clients in the acquired US business, identifying and accommodating key differences in client expectation, culture and regulation, and acting in a senior leadership role across the business in both locations.In the 15 years I worked at Insight, the business grew from £50 billion to £800 billion in AUM, becoming one of the fastest growing and most successful asset managers in the world. Managing a transatlantic team and groups ranging in size from 2 to 30 people, I have supported a rapidly growing and increasingly complex business. With a large and derivative heavy UK LDI book, an increasingly diversified and global client base, and the impact of regulatory change in Europe and the USA, I implemented structural changes in the team to provide focus on key areas, improve morale and streamline workflow.I was a member of the Business Management Group and Operations Management Group and have formed part of various governance committees, for example the Technology Information Risk Committee, the Counterparty Credit Committee and the Clearing Steering Group. I also acted as workstream leader for business critical projects, such as MIFID II, and regularly partnered with key divisional business leaders, for example the COO/CFO, General Counsel and CIO. The internal business areas I worked most closely with were Legal, Compliance, Operations, Business Development, Relationship Management, IT, and the Client Solutions Group. Externally my main contacts were clients, consultants, our outsourced back office provider and counterparty banks.
