About Sarah Mckellar

I am a graduate of American University with a B.A. in International Studies in May 2019. I focused my studies in National Security, Foreign Policy, and European affairs with a minor in Criminal Justice. In Fall 2018, I studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium and experienced life inside the European Union. Most recently, I worked for the U.S. government and hold an active Public Trust clearance. My colleagues would describe me as an energetic and resourceful team-player with a strong work ethic, a sense of humor, and one who is quick to offer diverse solutions. Currently, I am looking for volunteering, research, or learning opportunities that would allow me to expand my skills in the fields of European affairs, national security and foreign policy, technology and cybersecurity policy, space and defense policy, and legal/forensic psychology. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books both fiction and non-fiction, writing prose and poetry, painting, kayaking, singing, and traveling everywhere I can. I’m an avid music fan and a lover of history and art.
