In cooperation with the Sacramento State University Computer Science program, I am teaching high school freshmen computer coding using micro:bits and makecode.microbit.org, an educational tool created by Microsoft, that teaches students three types of coding language: block, python, and java in addition to fine art. Projects include Surrealism/Salvador Dali-inspired melting clocks and many more to come.

2023-2024 School year: Teaching 8th-grade science, 8th-grade STEAM elective that is Ag-based, & joined school site leadership as science department head.2022-2023 School year taught Biology & Chemistry. Cooperating teacher for my site with Center for Land Based Learnings FARMS field trip program taking 6 high school students to monthly field day field trips with a focus on sustainable agriculture.

I am the department head and FFA Advisor. I teach Ag Earth Science, Floral Design, Ag Leadership, manage an independent study class period, and Ag Biology. Long term substitute from February-June 2020. I came in to take over 7th/8th grade science classes that have had 30-day subs since the beginning of the school year. While teaching these classes, I had to deal with behavior issues, quickly change over to online teaching. While online teaching I held weekly Zoom office hours, posted 3-5 assignments per week, and tutored individual students via Zoom to help master their understanding. I also volunteered my floral design skills to help decorate for the virtual graduation with a floral spray and balloon pillars.

Handling shipping and utilizing Microworks, Ship Compliant, and two local wine shippers (Copper Peak Logistics & Wine Care Logistics) to manage domestic shipments of wine, utilize CellarPass to create and manage appointments, create and share marketing materials and email campaigns, manage social media (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, & Twitter) posts and schedule upcoming post ideas/schedule what photos will be necessary, utilize Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign & PhotoShop), Mail Chimp, Buffer, Dropbox, & Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, & Word). I also reply to all of our positive and negative comments and reviews from customers on CellarPass, Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook, & Instagram. As part of my administrative role, I help with Inventory Transfers, answer phones for appointments and eCommerce/phone orders as well as general customer service. I often help in the tasting room with buffing glasses, setting up/tearing down from tastings, restocking inventory, preparing items for shipping, and hosting club members for tasting appointments. In my short time here at Bell, I truly feel like I've found my nitch of bouncing between the tasting room and the back office.

As an administrative assistant for Blair of Blair Spangler Design Group, I utilize many databases and communication applications to gather potential client information, develop and edit attachments to send potential clients, organizing booking of clients, assist with HR matters, assist with making sure the rental properties are in order and have everyone properly scheduled for cleaning/checking in to the house, etc. I have experience using InDesign, Photoshop, WordPress, SquareSpace, Quickbooks, Mail Chimp, Air Table, Social media managers Buffer and HootSuite, Evernote, Slack, Trello, MS Suite, Apple Suite, and Google Suite.
