As Chief Operating Officer for Enspired Solutions, Sarah leads the organizational and business development efforts for the company and helps develop and execute growth and market strategies. Sarah has over 25 years of experience in leadership in environmental research and contaminant remediation where she has been responsible for directing nationwide remediation projects, team building, establishing client relationships, planning and executing business development and marketing campaigns, and mentoring professional-level staff. She supports the Enspired Solutions mission to forward a diversity of people in STEM careers and permanently alleviate PFAS risks to ALL.Enspired Solutions has developed and is commercializing a novel technology that destroys PFAS molecules in solution to water, fluoride, and simple carbon compounds. With our proprietary chemistry, no additional PFAS molecules are created from precursors, both short and long-chain molecules are destroyed, and there are no toxic biproducts generated. Our mission is to be part of the solution to permanently alleviate #PFAS risks to human health and ecosystems.

Led NRT's manufactured gas plant (MGP) team and key member of the sediment practice focusing on issues associated with large sediment sites, including multiple former MGP sites on the Chicago Rivers in Illinois, the Fox River in Wisconsin, and the Ottawa River in Ohio. Sarah's strong client service and development skills extend into other elements of the energy sector.Sarah develops strategy and manages a team of scientists and engineers for a portfolio of former Illinois MGP sites in the USEPA Superfund Alternative Sites (SAS) program and in coordination with the State of Illinois. She has also worked with USEPA’s Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) in design and implementation of investigation and quality control programs at sediment sites on the Grand Calumet River, Ottawa River, Menekaunee Harbor, Tannery Bay, and Ruddiman Creek and is the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) for OBG’s current contract with GLNPO. Sarah served as NRT's Quality Assurance Manager for eight years.

Project Manager for federal Superfund and Great Lakes National Programs Office (GLNPO) contracts for environmental remediation work including large-scale, high-profile sites. Team leader in emergency response, time-critical removal action, and Great Lakes Area of Concern (AOC) characterization and remediation. Responsible for project staff, schedules, budgets and subcontractor management. Key manager in client service and quality assurance. Mentored and supervised staff.

Directed daily lab operations for small and large lake investigations. Sediment age-dating, seasonal water column biogeochemistry. Wrote technical papers and grant proposals.
