During these five years I filmed, produced and directed television programmes for BBC Northern Ireland. I was an investigative journalist for a BBC documentary on failing care homes during the pandemic in 2020. Also during the pandemic, I produced an observational documentary inside a women’s refuge in Derry.In 2019, I filmed and produced an hour long film about children with autism (Inside Autism: A Tiny Bit of Magic)Between 2018 and 2019, I filmed, produced and directed a one hour observational documentary following investigative journalists as they uncovered fresh stories about the Troubles.

During 14 years as a staff investigative journalist for BBC Panorama, BBC Real Story and BBC Spotlight, I uncovered fresh evidence which led to the overturning of a woman’s conviction for murdering her three children. I made four programmes about a couple whose children were wrongly adopted - films which resulted in the law being changed. I spent four months undercover in a religious cult, and I produced a Panorama which attracted five million viewers and worldwide media coverage.
