I grew up coexisting with many creatures, from turtles and guinea pigs to sharks and chinchillas, and that imbued me with a love of animals and nature. I prefer drawing animals or creatures because they seem so authentic to me. Moreover, they come in diverse shapes and sizes with their own unique personalities. I also adore taking mundane or spooky scenarios and making them cute, whimsical and humorous. For me, this makes the world a little more joyful and hopeful and a bit less daunting.
