I am an experienced R&D professional responsible for guiding new products from ideation through production with a focus on quality and brand. I set the technical and executional strategy for Sambazon’s existing business as well as the innovation pipeline and lead a great team overseeing Quality Assurance, Global Regulatory Compliance, and Co-Manufacturing in addition to spearheading Product Development. At Sambazon, my focus is product development from concept to consumer as well as leading our Global Technical Services team. This includes bench-top formulation, consultant & project management, consumer research, pilot trials, scale-up, documentation and more. Additionally, I provide technical support for our factory in Brazil. Quality is our top priority and I’ve built a strong team that manages and executes it at all levels in our finished products. I’m always striving to bring new and innovative ideas to market that will delight our consumers, whether it’s a new product, process, package, or program. With a passion for the food and beverage industry and experience working for both large and small companies in the conventional and organic space, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of some amazing product launches in a variety of categories.
