- Operational management of the Ambulatory Care unit, acute medicine wards and medicine for the elderly. Including development of new clinical pathways for ambulatory care which increased attendance within the unit by 20%- Increased referrals to Ambulatory care from the Emergency department through comms activities with the ED and close working with the CCG to encourage and educate GPs to send patients directly rather than them sending patients to the ED first.- Developed and implemented strategies to proactively manage 4 hour target working within the ward to which improved flow and earlier discharges. e.g red to green, SAFER bundle- Line management of administrative support staff within acute medicine.- Involvement in CIP saving process and idea generation – I was able to achieve my CIP target through the increased use of the Ambulatory care one of the only people in the division to meet their target.- Deputised for Operations Manager at senior executive meetings.- Manager of the Day responsibility - patient flow, finding beds for elective patients

Responsible for reviewing and planning capacity needs for the service e.g. surgical capacity and 2WW capacity meeting 18 week pathway and cancer targets each month- Service planning and ensuring sustainability for the future of the service e.g. involvement in the development of the tele-dermatology model.- Worked with CCGs and commissioners to develop the service- Ensured trust targets were met within limited resources.- Deputised for Deputy Operations Manager- Problem solving, and organising logistics to ensure clinics run smoothly and with flow- Initiating regular liaison with clinicians, nurses and other senior management staff- Line management of staff - offering support and guidance, and setting and monitoring priorities in their work.
