Under Dr. Osmanski, I am working on a project involving auditory perception in Common Marmosets. In this role I work to care for the Marmosets and run the trials.

Mainly, I worked on a study under Dr. Arjun Sebastian regarding degenerative and curvature changes in the spine following different lower extremity amputation levels. I investigated bone and muscle density in X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs through QReads, along with taking general measurements of the anatomy. Through utilizing Mayo Data Explorer, fixed a cohort of possible patients from over 2,000 to manually read through to under 400 based on clinical codes. I was also involved with a project investigating Pars vs Pedicle screw placement and clinical outcomes in decompressive laminectomy surgeries. In this paper, I worked again with Mayo Data Explorer to sift through the provided cohort of possible patients to provide the team with a more accurate list. I work as a course assistant for 2 sections of Calculus II for Biology at Johns Hopkins University.This course acts as a calculus two course with an introduction to linear algebra. I lead sections, grade, and hold office hours for my students.

While observing the work of several physicians, I witnessed an incarceration of a reamer in the femoral canal during a total hip replacement. Under Dr. Nathaniel Stewart, I produced a paper investigating novel methods of reamer removal, including both information from a literature review and the removal method used during the surgery I witnessed.
