I am an Attachment-Based Psychotherapist and Resilience Coach based and trained in London. I run a busy private practice in Marylebone, and I now offer my services alongside colleagues at Counselling Psychology online.After almost two decades of working in television production both overseas and within the UK, I chose to re-train as a psychotherapist. Following six years training in Addiction Psychology and Attachment-Based Therapy I spent several years working within private and public organisations, charities, and addiction treatment centres. Alongside my face to face therapeutic work in Marylebone, and online work with UK based and international clients, I offer one-to-one resilience coaching with senior corporate leadership in the financial and media sectors. I occasionally guest teach and facilitate workshops with various corporate and therapy training organisations on the subject of attachment insecurity and issues of dependency. I am a contributing author for a book on 'Attachment and Food' to be published this Autumn. I find it both compelling and rewarding to witness my clients begin to see the world from a different perspective, shift unhelpful thinking, and crucially, make those tentative steps towards behavioural change - change that can launch a new path towards consciously creating secure attachments, alongside recovery from self-limiting behaviours.My working style integrates cognitive approaches to decision making, psychodynamic theories of personality development (attachment), mentalisation and self-observation.
