For my university work placement year I worked within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) department at Renault UK’s head office. The role of the department was to retain existing customers by building and maintaining strong relationships using marketing techniques. Main duties included:- Liaising with and building a rapport with outside agencies and dealerships- Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports- Brainstorming new strategies with team members and executing them- Managing projects from start to finish, within budget- Monitoring and presenting the outcome of past marketing programmes- Minute taking and distribution of word processed minutes- Maintaining a “Knowledge Base” intranet site for the Renault customer service team- Working closely with other departments to ensure projects deadlines were met
