I believe it was many ripples throughout my life that guided me to where I am today, which is working along side some very brilliant and strong defenders of victims of human trafficking. I was an advocate for victims of crimes for more than a decade where I had the honor to help victims during one, if not THE worse event of their lives………But before that, I was lucky enough to be a juvenile county probation officer for several years, where I met so many amazing kids who just needed that ONE person to give a damn.And then, before any of that, I became a survivor of child sexual abuse that began when I was six years old…..and for that I am stronger. We are the scars that we choose. 🫶🏽
