I manage multiple grant tracks, engaging diverse stakeholders to ensure equity and inclusivity in program planning, grant selection, and implementation. In 2024, I facilitated the launch of the Local Parks Grant Program, which received over 220 applications, and led a 27-member review committee to assess and recommend $3 million in funding for the inaugural year, with an anticipated $5 million in funding over the next two years. I also support the development of the Arts in California Parks communications plan and brand refresh, while creating all communication materials for the Local Parks Grant Program. I produce and manage the Coachella Art Studios, a large-scale interactive craft installation that has been a staple in the Coachella campgrounds for 10+ years. Our project lives in a 50x100ft tent with beautiful buildouts, DJs, and a team of 30+ craft staff. Thousands of Coachella concert goers create with us every weekend. As the Special Projects Manager for the City of Palm Springs’s Public Arts Commission, I participated in the development and implementation of community art programs and public engagement activities. I assisted the Public Arts Commission’s Chair with planning and programming art development efforts with an emphasis on mini-grant programs, public community events, and educational outreach programs.

As the Program Director, I developed an art program for at-risk female-identifying students enrolled in middle school throughout Palm Springs Unified School District. The blog provided information on cultural events, artist openings, and other opportunities happening in the community. As the blog gained popularity, I began to host its own events, including group art shows, weekly parties, and installations at music festivals. Eventually, I opened a brick-and-mortar space for art exhibits and special events and was granted 501c3 nonprofit status. The organization went on to partner with local city governments, businesses, museums, and the Coachella music festival and played a significant role in the development of the local arts scene over a ten-year period.
