While at this hospital I worked on a telemetry floor along with Surgical Intensive Care Unit. While on these floors, I was able to work closely with a variety of fun, interacting nurses who were willing to teach. I was exposed to a plethora of diseases, procedures, and a variety of equipment used in those settings. I was honored with the opportunity to work closely with patients and expand on my patient care communication and skills.

My practice on the ambulance helped me grow in situations where I had to control my environment and team around me, in serious high stress circumstances. I learned great patient care and always continued to enhance my knowledge of the field. My communication and documentation skills are also top-notch. I understand the importance of being clear and thorough in providing pertinent information. I am an excellent listener and follow directions, even under pressure, flawlessly. I've collaborated well with a variety of other medical professionals to achieve our joint goal of improving the quality of patients' lives.
