An accomplished painter, sculptor and designer, Sarah Shea explores themes and mediums with an experimental approach. She is co-founder of the textile companies, MODRA Studio and MODRA Style, with the newest collections of fabrics now being represented by prominent showrooms such as De Sousa Hughes in the San Francisco Design Center, Studio Van den Akker in the Decoration & Design Building in Manhattan, and Becky Walker & Associates in Del Mar, California. Her handcrafted and intricate paintings, nuanced with a sophisticated depth and tonality, give a sculptural dimension to these fabrics.
