My role involves:- Coding and testing using a variety of languages on the PC and Mainframe Systems.- Reviewing Business requirements, Actuarial calculations specifications and Test plans and Approaches for project and regulatory work.- Identifying mis-matches in calculations betweem core systems and user developed applications (UDAs).- Write and amend technical documentation for IT use.- Update the UDAs providing calculations and output illustrations for Life and Pensions products.In the past I have worked on :- Providing explanantions to Sales people on how the Illustrations figures were calculated for Life and Pensions products.- Worked on the Demutualisation helpline answering our customers' questions on their policies and how they were affected by the demutualisation of the company.
