I spent 28 years at the leading NPR public radio station in Los Angeles; I created stories, produced programs that were broadcast locally and nationally, conducted interviews with cultural leaders and figures as well as candidates for jobs at the station, wrote articles, edited the program guide, proofread marketing materials. Since retiring I've written a weekly arts column for Santa Monica Daily Press and am currently writing a semi-monthly columns/reviews/essays for The Canyon Chronicle. I spent 5 years writing feature articles for Santa Monica College publications, including the college catalog and I sat in for the College PIO when she underwent surgery, launching a major new addition to the college campus.
