Hello! My name is Sarah Stringfellow and I am a high school mathematics teacher and high school girls soccer coach. I am finishing my master's degree at the American College of Education. I have created this profile for networking and professional growth. I have spent my entire life being a part of a team, which has prepped me in my teaching career being a part of a department and for co-teaching. I have spent the beginning of my teaching career teaching high school math, more specifically Algebra inclusion classes. I am a good classroom manager, but also know how to connect and build relationships with my students. I am skilled with technology and feel comfortable learning and trying new technologies especially in the classroom. My master's degree has helped me to continue to develop my teaching skills and think and plan more thoughtfully in the classroom. I have a vast knowledge of teaching mathematics, best practices and incorporating technology. I have learned a lot in my master's program that I will be incorporating into my classroom. As a coach, I am a good organizer, planner, and positive encouragement to my players. I know how to lead other coaches and lead players in becoming better people, but also better soccer players in their fitness and soccer skills. I lead my life with the attitude of trying to be a lifelong learner. In addition to wanting to learn and try new things, I enjoy sports, fitness and traveling!
